IGCSA Atlanta’s annual “Light of Community” gala brought together sponsors, leaders, and over 200 guests — raising crucial funds for upcoming festivals and arts programs.

On November 15, 2025, IGCSA Atlanta hosted its annual benefit, Light of Community — Annual Benefit Gala, at the Temple Hall. The event welcomed more than 200 community members, donors, and corporate sponsors for an evening of music, cultural performances, and a silent auction. Thanks to generous ticket sales, table sponsors, and matched corporate gifts, the gala raised $52,000, surpassing the night’s fundraising goal.

Proceeds will directly support the Festival & Cultural Celebration Fund, underwriting next year’s major events, youth performing arts workshops, and expanded community outreach. Highlights of the evening included a moving kirtan performance led by Guru Ananya Rao, a student dance presentation, and the awarding of the inaugural Community Champion recognition to longtime volunteers Priya Shah and Sameer Patel.
